“Happiness is not in the mere possession of money; it lies in the joy of achievement, in the thrill of creative effort.” – Franklin D. Roosevelt
Why can’t I attract money?
You’ve been on the entrepreneurial path for some time now. You’re getting attention, people are liking your offerings, and things are looking good. But the money just isn’t showing up. It’s difficult to covert leads and close sales. Basically, you think that you’re doing everything right, but are just not attracting the abundance that you deserve.
It’s usually at this point, that most people give up. When the mountain of expenses keeps piling up with no way to sift through it.
I’m here to tell you that don’t quit. There is absolutely no need to give up. Odds are, it’s not you. Sometimes, tables turn when we choose to focus ourselves on a different aspect of our life. The holistic side. The side of our life that is indirectly attached to our career or business, but only a few of us are able to connect the dots.
Let me make it clear with a story I told in one of my seminars.
John and Paula, both up and coming businessowners, registered to attend a networking summit as attendees. John limited his participation as a viewer and a listener. He decided to attend the summit, listen to influencers, take notes, do some networking, and then go back to his routine life.
Paula thought of herself as a holistic entrepreneur. What did she do?
She followed a different approach. She focused more on asking the right questions instead of jotting down notes, page after page (that would be stowed away in the office desk, never to be opened again), she was selective in networking – choosing people who could help her business grow, and scoured the event for any potential customers.
So, while John found the summit similar to another business chore – something that needed to be done – Paula leveraged every open spot as a business opportunity.
The outcome? John got back to a routine of investing in marketing and paid promotions while Paula had her work cut out. She scheduled meetings with people who had expressed interest in her business, set up demos, and eventually closed several deals.
See the difference?
So subtle, yet to full of impact!
So, the reason that you’re not able to attract wealth and financial abundance is because you don’t find happiness in what you do. When you started on your entrepreneurial journey, you were excited about the future. Somewhere down the line, you became complacent as things became routine. You became similar to John.
But, if you had embraced your holistic side like Paula, you’d be much more ahead in business.
How did the wealthy people get to be rich?
People who have money tend to follow a certain path. This is my understanding after being a Financial Consultant for over 26 years. They have certain inclinations that help them stay right on the path of financial abundance.
I have broken down attracting wealth to a 5-step process:
- Saying or offering daily prayers
- Having a clear understanding of who you are
- Learning from the energy flow of your past
- Paying close attention to your money, and
- Wishing well for others and being grateful.
